About me
I’m Shrief Khamis, a software developer interested in backend architecture, data workflows, and how complex systems stay coherent.
I tend to move between technical engineering and conceptual questions. Some of what I do is hands-on: designing data pipelines, building automation tools, experimenting with GPU-powered LLM setups. Other work is more exploratory: thinking about philosophy of science, probability, or how we make sense of complex systems.
This site reflects that mix:
- Projects highlight things I’ve built and can talk about, data pipelines, data exploration, and infrastructure work
- Readings track the books I’m reading and what I’m taking away from them
- Writings are short pieces where I clarify a thought, test an argument, or reflect on something technical or conceptual
- Research collects early-stage ideas and longer-term investigations I’m exploring in the background
This site isn’t meant to be a mirror of everything I do, nor are any of the lists exhaustive. It’s just a glimpse into the things I think about and work on.
